I've seen about twenty examples, half on LP12s, half on old Planar 3s (before Regas own arms became standard). I've also seen a lot more Rega/Lustre 'S'-shaped arms which had 'some play' too; every one of them! My point is if the human hand can feel 'some play' it doesn't mean it's a bad thing.
