I had a Peerless MIK Casino that is one of the few guitars I still kick myself for selling. The finish was completely flawless and, like Sheraton said, it felt quite thin and didn't look globbed on and 'plastic-y' like a lot of the other poly finished Epis I've owned, most of which have been the newer MIC ones. The guitar was also flawlessly constructed. The pickups were also fantastic, as was the fret work. There was really not a single thing about the guitar that I could possibly complain about. The G-400 isn't bad, but I can't get it to play as well as the LP. The nut on the LP is superior to the one on the SG (which really could use a replacement). There aren't too many differences with the finish - the SG (in red) looks really great.
