Just put this on my MPC a week or so ago and finally got deep into it the past couple of days. This **** is insane.They fully extended the machine so you can make instrument programs with ADSR. Audio tracks work beautifully now, and the sequencer is rock solid like usual.

Tons of workflow improvements over the standard AKAI os, and even previous JJ OS versions. You can even grid/step edit right from the main track window too. If you've got a MPC1k you need this software. I'm sitting here bugging out on it all night. Made some 8bit chiptune programs earlier, and now I've got it teamed up with the korg micro-x playing live into audio tracks with the MPC running the drums.

I still refuse to use any 'auto' chop tools or anything like that. I just like the fact that JJ gave the mpc features a real sampler has. (Lets be real, if you ever used a rack sampler or something like the ensoniq asr/eps, you know the mpc sampler sucks in native forum except for the 4k). I really enjoy things like global program edit (adjusting every sample in a program at once), chopping sounds in the context of how they are in the program, full adsr envelopes, being able to use the LR/12/34 outputs all as individual outputs, etc. One of the ILLEST things is the track mixer. If you work efficiently and program a kick on one track, snare on one track, hat on another track, etc, you don't have to bother with the program mixer.
