If I understand correctly, normally, the MIDI IN line on a digital piano or keyboard would accept MIDI data and play midi files on a computer. I know the USB TO HOST substitutes the MIDI OUT, but does it work as the MIDI IN as well? In other words, can I connect my computer to the piano, then record what I play on the piano as MIDI files, then later play back those files through the piano? Thanks in advance!
