Download Driver Usb Wifi Tenda W311u
Hello all, I have got a Tenda W311U USB WLan dongle, and have tried to install the drivers provided. However, the package I downloaded said 'Ralink Wireless LAN Utility', and guess what - it's not a utility, it's a driver. I tried to connect to the internet, and it didn't work. How can I get it to work properly with OS X, and to connect to the internet with it? Power User Power Macintosh G3 (Blue) 400MHz Rev.

I have just been banging my head against a brick wall with the same problem. I was working on a Flower Power G3 iMac (500 MHz) running MacOS X 10.4.11 and trying to install 2 different USB based wireless adapters, a D-Link DWL-G122 and a newer no-name Wireless N adapter.
Both have Ralink chips and I had downloaded the latest appropriate drivers from the Ralink support site. In both cases the Wireless Utility (used to set up communication with the wireless network) wouldn't start and returns an error:- dyld: incompatible cpu-subtype From a bit of Googling this suggests that the program wasn't compiled to support the G3 architecture. An earlier suggestion in this thread was to try checking permissions - this didn't work.
The OS install is fresh from DVD and then updated using software update so I don't think I have installed anything that is likely to be causing problems. I've run out of ideas and I can't find a way to contact the Ralink software support people so I have tried their general contact details. I'll update this I get a response.
